What to Expect

  • Our team will work together to gather information regarding your health and dental needs.
  • Please expect to have x-rays, photographs of your teeth, examination of your teeth and gums, and oral cancer screening.
  • Based on the information obtained during the exam, the doctor will recommend treatment options and types of dental cleaning.
  • Possibly, an additional records appointment will be needed for more involved dental needs.

Children/Infants

Your child should have his/her teeth checked by the first birthday. We call these "happy visits". First visits are mainly for the kids to get used to the dental setting and helping parents take better care of their kid's teeth with appropriate information on home care. After age of 3, your child should have his/her first set of xrays. This allows the dentist to check for any cavities. It is especially important to treat these cavities on baby teeth, as cavities on baby teeth become large very quickly and may cause infection. For kids age 3 and older, a dental cleaning and sealants are recommended. We will stress prevention and home care as we want your kids to develop a good habit to care for his/her oral hygiene!
